In 1997, with our investment of 22 million dollars, we bought a paper plant in Austria and continued our journey of rapid modernization until 2001.
Thanks to this investment, we have brought a giant plant equipped with the latest technological innovations to the Turkish Paper Sector and reached an industrial paper capacity of 105 tons per day. Years ago, Levent Paper started out with 9 employees and a capital of 5,000 TL. Today, we have reached 127 employees and a capital of 10,000,000 TL.
Currently, we are located on the 25th kilometer of Kemalpasa Road and we continue production on a total of 50.492 m2 of land, 12.930 of which is indoor and 37.562 outdoor. As one of the leading facilities in Turkey, Levent Paper can process recycled paper and cellulose at the same time. This type of production contributes significantly to the Turkish economy since it is dependent on the foreign cellulose market. We produce a wide weight range of industrial papers and sanitary papers (17 g/ m2-140 g/m2). Thus, we fully meet the needs of medium- and large-scale industrial facilities. Levent Paper also produces the semi-finished goods for the roofing material Corrubit, produced and put on market by BTM Bituminous Isolation Materials Industry and Trade Inc.

In addition to owning one of the largest sanitary paper factories in Turkey, we have also devoted a large part of our production to exports. We export our products to many countries, such as England, Germany, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, France, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Spain, K.K.T.C., Azarbeycan Georgia, Uzbekistan; African countries such as Tanzania, Angola, Mozambique and countries in Central America.
With its ever-evolving customer portfolio, Levent Paper has become a sought-after supplier of quality recycled sanitary paper thanks to its environmental awareness and competitive price strategies in the export market.
As a results of the stable quality of our products, we receive high levels of customer satisfaction. The quality of our products also increases the trust that sanitary paper recyclers have in us. We make great efforts to obtain the necessary share from the evolving export market and reach every possible country. In addition to our extremely wide product range, very high-quality products, strong and reliable attitude in the sector, and environmentally friendly vision, we have also been awarded the Leading Company in Investment Award by the Ministry of Finance.
Due to the fact that we produce in accordance with the standards, we have received the TUV certificate between 2005 and 2017, ISO 9001: 2008 BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION since 2017. In addition, as a result of the quality of our products, we have been entitled to use ISO 9001:2015 BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION since 2020. We have been awarded with Certificates of Success by EBSO in many years as a reward for our entrepreneurship and our contributions to the economy of the region and the country.
